Team Helios
|
Helios is developed by a team of professionals from school districts for
the entire K-12 community. Our leadership comprises of technology managers, HR administrators,
credential analysts and business advisors.
Naturally, our team brings expertise in the latest tools in the K-12 industry and
a solid understanding of the fundamentals involved in school district administration.
We partner with leaders in the educational technology industry as well as with organizations
that support education. Our key team members are:
Yash Sharman, MBA, CPA
Yash is the lead developer of Helios and has several years of experience
creating technology products and services specifically for school districts and
the larger educational community. Among the tools that he has helped create for
school districts include applicant tracking, HR process management, inventory management
as well as attendance tracking. These systems are being successfully used. As part
of these systems, he has also trained and provided support to hundreds of users
including administrators, educators and HR staff.
His educational background encompasses technology and management and he holds a
California CPA license as well.
William Arguello
William has over 10 years experience as district HR administrator and a recruiter.
He brings in solid understanding of HR management and credentialing as well as the
latest in requirements that NCLB, Williams legislation and other laws impose on
school districts. A pioneering user of Helios, William knows what it takes
to manage HR information and use it effectively to make decisions that help the
district comply with federal and state legislation to improve administration.
Dr. S Mahn
Mahn is an experienced educator having been a university professor teaching economics,
finance and capital market subjects. Armed with that backgound and his doctorate
degree in Portfolio Management based on the work of Nobel laureates William
Sharpe and Harry Markowitz, he has been a consultant to several companies including
Merill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and other banks and institutions. He brings to Helios
the same insight and mentoring to help shape our vision and organization.
Mahn has grounding in mathematical and analytical tools with a long stint in designing,
formulating and conducting meaningful research studies.
Sharlene Tipeni
As someone who deals with credential management and regulatory school district reporting
on a regular basis, Sharlene provides the critical input needed to make and keep
Helios absolutely useful and user-friendly. She researches on what
are the latest changes in county, state and federal reporting and helps keep
Helios up to date. Sharlene has close to a decade of experience in
school district administration with expertise in HR management, credentials, NCLB
and Williams law reporting and compliance.
Jodaryle Factor, MS
A wizard at technology and engineering, Jodaryle has helped create pioneering
technology from security tools to web-based and wireless processing systems that
are available anytime and anywhere from any device. His experience includes working
for big name companies such as Trend Micro as well as school districts in the technology
arena and always Jodaryle has been playing with cutting edge tools. He possesses
a Master's degree in computer engineering.
