Using Helios - Commands

These are the most common buttons you will find in Helios. They are pretty straight-forward.

• After making changes on the current page, hit the Save button. If you don't click Save, the changes will not be saved.
• Conversely, if you do not wish the changes to be saved, click Cancel to revert back.
• Delete button will delete the current record.
• When you want to add a new record, click New.

• When you click New, you will get a new record and you can fill in the information for it. Then you will see these 2 buttons - Add and Cancel.
• Add will save the new record and Cancel will cancel the new record.

When there are no records or items present, you will not see anything except the New button. You can click the New button to add a new record.

This is a grid-style box. Some boxes like these are only for selection purposes. When you click the Arrow on the left, you select that particular record and information for that record will then be displayed below the grid-style box.

This grid-style box has update and delete features. When you click on the Arrow on the left, you select that record for editing.

After editing the info, click the Save button that looks like a floppy disc to save the record. Click Cancel button to cancel the changes.

For adding a new record, select the top blank record in the grid by clicking its Arrow on the left.

And then you can save the new record by clicking Save button or cancel it by clicking on the cross which is the Cancel button.
